The Company.

We are working with an exciting betting technology company with a global scope that is building advanced, high-traffic betting, and wagering platforms for their customers.

Within a short timeframe and with an elite engineering team they have built a powerful globally scalable cloud-based technology platform with super-fast latency and microservices architecture throughout. The strategy for 2021 is to begin growing their customer base and they already have a mammoth anchor customer locked in!

Now is a superb time to be joining them and helping craft this platform using the latest Microsoft technologies.

The Role.

As they continue to improve their gaming platform, we're looking for a resourceful and pragmatic Senior Engineer for one of their engineering teams (15 Engineers in 4 teams for 4).

You don’t need to have a background in real-time transactional software, however, an interest in the domain, wagering/betting, or gambling is important to enjoy the role and the unique challenges your team will face.

Day to day you will be involved in Scrum meetings, Microservices development on Service Fabric, Azure functions development, Cosmos DB and SQL development, Console and windows service application developments, lots of C# coding, unit testing, and code reviews.

Required Skills.

· At least 5-6+ years of commercial experience in C# and .NET Framework 

· Familiar with .NET Core and Net Standard

· Solid understanding of Service Oriented Architecture and Microservices in prod.

· Strong database skills (Entity Framework, SQL, NoSQL etc) 

· Expert in utilizing modern design patterns & proven Agile TDD experience 

Also, a solid understanding of web app environments & development tools, event-driven application development, session state management, web configuration, and deployment strategies, security and performance tuning, and debugging methodologies would put you in a great position for this role…

Nice to have.

· Domain knowledge (racing & sports betting/wagering systems) 

· An active GitHub account or similar public repo

· Gets involved in the opensource community 

· StackOverflow with some popularity :)
