JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Senior System Architect you will be responsible for determining the architectural design and strategy of Cerner’s solutions as it relates to system maintenance, upgrades, and performance. You will determine systems architectural strategy and lead technical support strategies. You will also develop and implement techniques to improve system performance and implement and maintain technical architectures, frameworks, enhancements and strategies. As a Senior System Architect you will manage the relationship with support teams and act as point of contact for support escalations and diagnose, analyze, and troubleshoot complex technical problems to resolve issues. You will also mentor and lead junior members of team.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information System, Management Information Systems or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
- At least 7 years of System administration or engineering work experience
