The company also imports farm machinery from major suppliers, is well positioned for growth and currently offering a great opportunity for a self-motivated and reliable person to join our family orientated business team.

About the role

Working as part of an experienced team and reporting to the Manager you will be responsible for carrying out installations and field maintenance of centre pivot and linear irrigation systems. You will be flexible in both work hours and locations ensuring jobs are competed in a timely manner complying with the company's Quality Assurance systems. You will maintain up to date records and documentation, be highly organised and ensure the safe operation of company plant and equipment for yourself and others on the job.

Skills and experience

Tertiary qualifications in Agricultural Engineering along with relevant industry work experience would be highly regarded. A sound knowledge of water management, irrigation systems, pump design, AUTOCAD, Agsense and drip and sprinkler irrigation are also an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Design of long term water efficient solutions that supply higher crop yielding spray irrigation systems to farmers in the agricultural industry. Supervise project management including installation, budget, safety, resources including reliability and reporting. Research and implement the latest technology and development to increase the production of farm products. Evaluate effectiveness of design for reliability and plan for continued improvement to meet customer needs.
