Due to continued success and growth, we are seeking a motivated Structural Engineering Drafting Officer (Timber, Steel & Concrete) to join our team in Kewdale.

Main Responsibilities:

· Closed Panel Timber Frame design engineering (walls, floors, roofs)

· Wind, gravity & seismic load calculations

· hsbCAD modelling of timber framed structures

· BIM coordination with steel, concrete & other structural elements

· AutoCAD drafting

· Computer aided manufacturing (CAM) file preparation (Weinmann)

· alphaCAM & inventor modelling (preferred)

· Product design drawing preparation

· Site installation planning & drawing

· Transport planning

· Production, transport & site install optimization & nesting (multiwalls)

· Ability to liaise with Project team, clients, architects & engineers

· Concrete, steel & other structural material engineering

Skills & Experience:

· At least 2 years hands on experience

· Closed panel hsbCAD modelling, documentation creation, CNC & CAM file creation

· Revit (desirable)

· Robot structural analysis (desirable)

· Ability to interpret & comply with the BCA & any relevant AS standards

· Excellent communication skills

· Strong experience & understanding of timber frame product design

· A Degree level or higher in (Civil, Structural or Timber Engineering)

· Proficient in Microsoft office suite

· Must be a team player, with a positive can-do attitude

· Ability to work under pressure

· Flexible & well organized

· Self-starter with the ability to use own initiative

Salary: $100,000 per year
