JOB DESCRIPTION

The Role
We are hiring a Java Engineer on an initial 6 month contract and have a pipeline of projects that will see the contract extend past 12 months.

The first exciting project is develop a COVID-19 vaccine management and booking system which will be utilised by the Australian government.

Initially you'll be working 100% at home, with the possibility of this changing to 1-2 days in the office (CBD) in a few months.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in Java
  • Strong experience in AWS
  • Experience to write Cloudformation
  • Huge advantage if you have experience with Alfresco
  • Ability to write unit Tests and have a good understanding of TDD
  • Experience developing API's
  • Ability to make judgements on frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Netty - understand the difference
