Due to unprecedented growth plans in 2021, PNA is recruiting for experienced Portfolio Managers to join this established development and construction lending team who have a role available in each of their offices in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

The Company

Trilogy is one of Australia’s leading non-bank lenders providing financing solutions to the residential, commercial, industrial, and retail property development and construction sectors. For over 20 years the managed funds and private investors, supported by experienced portfolio managers, have enabled the successful completion of hundreds of projects along the eastern seaboard of Australia. Their lending team focuses on loans of $3 million to $25 million using funds available from Trilogy’s pooled mortgage fund, the Trilogy Monthly Income Trust.

Portfolio Manager – Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney

In all three cities, the Portfolio Manager is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with major players within the property development and construction financing sectors. You will already have experience in the banking and/or commercial construction lending industry as a Business Development Manager, Relationship Manager, or Commercial Broker and we are open to talking to those with transferable experience who feel they have the correct attributes and work ethic which will ensure they successfully perform in this role.

Key Duties:

  • The Portfolio Manager (construction loan originator) is responsible for ‘self led origination both through existing networks and through new business development’
  • Maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to result in deposit and/or loan transactions
  • Managing each loan in the designated portfolio on a day-to-day basis and growing the existing portfolio
  • Negotiating debt facility terms, conditions and pricing.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have a proven track record within the construction and development finance sector
  • Must be a high achiever with good communication skills and good personal presentation
  • Must have good property and construction experience from a lending / credit perspective
  • Will have strong commercial acumen and motivation to exceed client expectations
