This position is responsible for providing information, designs, guidance and assessments on a wide variety of works. This includes providing guidance of Industrial Electricians to ensure they are meeting the design requirements and legislated standards along with company and site expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Development of Scope of Works, Functional Specifications/Descriptions or other documentation as requested specific to client requirements and as directed by the Engineering Manager.
• Completion of engineering works as directed by the Engineering Manager.
• Produce and compile sufficient documentation for electricians to complete installation works and ensure compliance to such guidelines is adhered to.
• Respond to and action all customer and internal work requests in a timely manner.
• Provide weekly updates to the Engineering Manager regarding progress of works and potential leads.
• Monitor and manage works progress utilising the systems designed and implemented by Concept.
• Perform engineering works across various sites and industries as required by the company.
• Complete and/or assist with pricing for service and project work.
• Provide technical guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Engineering Degree Qualification (with a major in Electrical Engineering or equivalent)
• Comprehensive understanding of plant and electrical installations in an industrial environment
• Proven ability to problem-solve and fault-find electrical circuits
• Current driver's licence
• Current electrical licence
• Drawing Software capabilities, preferable AutoCAD
• Capability to program PLC & HMI equipment associated with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, Citect, ClearSCADA

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

• Proven Project Management experience
• simPRO or other CMS system experience
• Chartered Electrical Engineer registration or ability to obtain
• Current CPR & LVR certificate
