About the Role

An opportunity has arisen in our Assets, Roads and Traffic Team for a Asset Engineer Roads professional to develop, update and ensure delivery of Roads Asset Capital Works Program and Asset Management Plan that provide optimal outcomes in a timely, reliable and efficient manner.

The salary for this position is $86,204.56 - $99,997.04 dependent on skills, experience and qualifications.

About You

This is a ‘fast paced’ work environment as the successful applicant you will be multi-skilled and must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in construction & maintenance of road, bridges and drainage assets.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in asset management including future planning, scoping projects and capital works program development relating to road and drainage assets.
• Knowledge and experience in Asset Management System/s including Inventory, Customer Service, Work Order and Condition Monitoring.
• Knowledge & experience in developing, updating and maintaining Asset
• Management System, related databases (conquest/PULSE) and GIS layers for road and drainage assets.
• Sound analytical skills and a high level of oral and written communication skills to manage relationships with staff, customers and stakeholders.
• High level of computer literacy and experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of EEO, WH&S and traffic control requirements
• Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence.
