You are:

You are Level 2 Support Technician who enjoys the satisfaction that comes with providing exceptional customer service whilst working in a very past-paced environment.

You'll come with solid experience supporting/ monitoring/ managing Windows servers, Active Directory, Exchange, VMware & Office 365.

Experience with back-up solutions and security products is ideal and it will help if you have worked for an IT company before.

The role:

You'll be responsible for providing ongoing remote support to our customers within their IT environment. As a Windows Technician, you will handle and resolve Level 2 customer support requests in a professional and timely manner.

This role involves extensive telephone and email customer interaction and you'll be expected to be flexible in your role, taking on Level 1 support issues if required.

Technical Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Level 1 & 2 support of servers, networks and end user devices
  • Level 1 & 2 support of cloud solutions and virtualisation technologies
  • Support client firewalls and routers
  • Liaise with Level 3 Engineers and Team Leaders on support issues and escalation
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows and MacOS workstation environments, in particular Windows desktop/notebook (XP, 7, 8, 8.1, 10, Embedded)
  • Understanding of Windows server environments (2003, 2008 Standard/ Enterprise, Storage Server 2008, 2012 Standard/ Essentials)
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange
  • Experience managing cloud services such as Microsoft Office 365
  • Knowledge of virtualisation technologies including VMWare: VSphere, ESXi & VMWare clusters
  • Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/ IP, VPN/ Tunnelling, Routing, DNS)
