An exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor to join a growing consultancy based in Brisbane

Your new company

Our client is a well-established Organisation based in Brisbane. Due to a peak in workload, they are looking to add an experienced Certifier/Surveyor to their in-house Certification team. This organisation have a presence across Queensland and Victoria and pride themselves on providing a professional, thorough and reliable services to their clients.

Your new role

You will be tasked with providing a number of certification / surveying tasks across Commercial and Residential projects for our client. Typically, you will be tasked with assisting clients Building Permit and Certification processes as per their requirements. With this, you will be assessing documentation to ensure compliance with the applicable building legislation and facilitating the preparation of Building Approvals & Certificates.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be expected to use your technical knowledge of the Construction industry to provide detailed and technical reports and advice to an existing client base. In this role, you will be expected to maintain and grow professional relationships by providing market-leading advice and quality consultations. Successful candidates will have Level 2 or 3 certification and have sound knowledge in private certification, handling assessments and issuing approvals. Previous experience in Local or State Government coupled with Private sector exposure would be advantageous but not essential. It is expected that you would have excellent written and verbal communication skills and hold a current unrestricted drivers license.
