JOB DESCRIPTION

A mining resource consultancy requires a Project Engineer - Mechanical for a Perth based opportunity, offering long term contract with competitive rates.

Responsibilities include:

  • Track daily progress of contractors and raising issues as required
  • Liaising with design engineers for onsite quality verifications
  • Occasional site visits
  • Liaising with key stakeholders to ensure that project is on track

To be considered for the role, you will possess the following:

  • Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Perth based
  • Minimum 5 years' experience
  • Proven experience in mining iron ore projects
  • Proven experience in Resource sector projects
  • Exposure to material handling, process plant and NPI
  • Experience working along side designing team
