The Company:
JPS has partnered with a major resource company who owns & operates a large scale gold operation in Western Australia. Our client is experiencing an exciting growth phase and looking to further expand it’s Technical Services team. The Position:
In this role you will be a leader within a supportive technical services team. Your duties will include but not limited to:
• Development of daily - quarterly mine plans and schedules
• Planning and maintaining effective drill and blast operations
• Liaise with production and technical teams to ensure compliance to plan
• Provide leadership and mentor junior engineers
• Identify and implement key improvement projects

The Profile:
The ideal candidate will have:
• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or related discipline
• Previous experience in an underground environment 
• Proficient with mine scheduling software 
• Excellent communicator and the ability to provide technical leadership within a team
• First Class Mine Managers Certificate will be looked at favourably
