Introduction
This new Pre-sales Engineer position is part of the IBM Instana acquisition. The successful applicant will work with prospects and customers to demonstrate the value of the Instana solution. As an IBM Instana Sales Engineer (SE), you’ll be the primary technical resource for the Field Sales teams.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Leverage your experience to make presales engagements successful
- Collaborate with sales teams, business partner ecosystem and technical teams
- Work for a dynamic technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
What will I be doing?
• Collaborate with IBM Automation Sellers and Business Partners to provide technical expertise for customer software sales.
• Perform Pre-Sales activities which will include:o Product demonstrations
o Technical assessments,
o Engaging with architects for solution design and configurations,
o Proof of Concept or Proof of Technology deliverables, and
o Providing relevant case studies and business cases such as return on Investment analysis.
