The Role
You are an Assistant Retail Manager with strong sales capabilities. You are highly organised, structured and can execute a detailed sales strategy to reach your targets. Known for your high level of enthusiasm, you always move at pace and have a knack for design. You understand the industry and share your expertise with your team and customer. You will be managing a team of 2-3 staff and reporting directly to the owners of the business.
Requirements
- Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills
- Confidence in dealing with a diverse group of clients
- Ability to build effective working relationships
- Able to physically lift heavy items
- High level personal motivation
- Have your own transport
- Interior Design qualification/experience advantageous
- Good level of computer literacy
Responsibilities
- Greet and acknowledge customers in a timely manner
- Assist customers with sales enquiries and product selection
- Design advice (where required)
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Assist with stocktaking and stock control
- Maintain accurate and up to date store records
- Data entry, invoicing and receipt of stock
- Picking and loading deliveries and pickups for customers

- BASE SALARY starting from $65,000 + Superannuation
- ROTATING ROSTER - Monday - Friday, Tuesday Saturday off! (3 day weekend)
- NO LATE NIGHTS, Showroom hours 9:30-5:30pm
