AECOM has an exciting opportunity for a Senior / Professional Electrical Engineer to join our Automation Team. The person appointed will be responsible to work with and across a strong Transmission and Distribution group and to provide the appropriate business development, technical support and deliver quality project outcomes on time and budget delivery. The individual will be required to build collaborative relationships to support the Energy Team for the many internal and external key stakeholders.
You will be given the unique opportunity to work with one of our key clients who are about to embark on an ambitious major transmission works program of a scale not seen in the Australian electricity sector in many decades.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong experience in the Transmission Secondary and SCADA environment
- Design of HV transmission substations protection systems including Low Voltage Control and protection design
- Development of functional Specifications
- Experience in design of SCADA
- Experience in sourcing, selection and integration of control systems hardware and associated cabling into substation design
- Design Management Experience
- Excellent project management and time management skills
- Excellent at managing internal and external client relationship
- In-depth understanding of NSW power distribution system
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
