The Opportunity:

A new opportunity is now available for an experienced Auto Electrician to join the Komatsu business, based at our Wacol branch.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the purpose of this role is to carry out maintenance and repairs on mobile mining and construction equipment and ensure excellent customer service.

You will be installing automotive electrical systems, equipment and components and the assembly of new equipment.

This role plays an integral part in ensuring high levels of safety, quality and efficiency are achieved at the Komatsu Wacol Branch.

The knowledge, skills and abilities we’re looking for:

• Trade Certificate in Auto Electrical required
• Experience on construction, quarry and mobile mining equipment
• Strong diagnostics and fault-finding skills
• Working at Heights, Forklift and Dogging Tickets highly regarded
• A high level of customer service skills
• A demonstrated commitment to safety with the ability to work unsupervised
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good understanding of computing systems
• Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) experience, particularly with Komatsu equipment will also be highly regarded
• Current Drivers Licence
