The Company

Launch have partnered with one of Australia’s premier not-for-profit organisations which has been supporting Australians in need for over 100 years.

The Role
This role is customer centric and provides level one and two business facing support for all ICT services.

Key duties and responsibilities include.

  • Input into the development of systems, tools and procedures that improve our capabilities.
  • Active involvement in the proposal and implementation of solutions for ICT services
  • Actively take part in Change, Incident and Problem Management
  • Triaging and classification of inbound requests and incidents, sometimes directly from clients
  • Interstate travel for short periods as required.
  • Vendor management
  • Ensure the effective and efficient operation of ICT services.
  • Other duties as directed by the CTO or Director, consistent with the above duties and responsibilities. About You
  • As an experienced IT Support Engineer you will be familiar with providing the day-to-day support, rectification and maintenance of IT equipment and Network infrastructure.

Experience across the following is also highly desirable.

1. Qualifications and experience

  • ITIL certificate
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in IT operations or support
  • Certifications within the Microsoft stack

2. Skills and abilities

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A passion for technology
  • Strong problem solving
  • Strong technical understanding of Microsoft desktop Operating systems and Office 365
  • Exposure to product lifecycle management
  • Self-starter, capable of working with minimal supervision and the ability to independently research processes.
  • Great time management skills and prioritising to work toward a fixed deadline.
  • Logical and structured approach
  • Close attention to detail
