This Managed Service Provider is seeking an experience Automation Engineer to join their team.

Your new role
As an Automation Engineer you will be responsible for the automation stack, working within an Agile methodology to continue to improve the established operation being performed within the Government Department.

What you'll need to succeed
Your core objectives and responsibilities as an Infrastructure Consultant include:

Establish and maintain Operational Excellence in the following technologies/ areas:

• vRealize Automation stack (vRA, vRO etc.) and application blueprinting
• Red Hat Linux and Microsoft Windows OS / Application Automation
• Hybrid cloud VMware / AWS
• DevOps & Linux Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
• CI/CD pipeline development utilising GitLab, Rundeck, Artifactory, Docker and other interchangeable automation technologies
• Puppet (+ Enterprise), Ansible (+ Tower) configuration management
• Script development in JavaScript, Python, PowerShell etc.
