Paterson & Cooke Australia was formed in 1991 as a partnership between Dr. Robert Cooke and Dr. Angus Paterson, with the aim of providing consulting services specialising in hydraulics and hydrotransport to the local mining industry.

About the Role

As a result of our continued operations and organisational needs, we currently seek the support of an experienced Civil and Architectural Drafter to join our team in Perth.

This position is full-time, working 40 hours a week (guaranteed), plus reasonable additional hours.

Salary: $90,000 to $100,000 per annum (plus super)

Hiring Criteria

In order to be successful, an applicant must:

- Possess a Diploma level qualification plus 2 years’ work experience, OR 5 years’ work experience in case of no formal qualification.

- Be honest, motivated, reliable and responsible;

- Be willing and able to commit to permanent, ongoing employment in the long-term;

- Be able to work autonomously and under pressure; and

- Possess sound technical and civil engineering skills;

- Experience in slurry pipeline systems and pump station designs would be desirable.

Important: Australian citizens and/or permanent residents will be given priority over those with work permission restrictions because of visa and other impediments.
