Premier People are currently assisting our clients, a leading contractor servicing Rio Tinto mines across WA, with their requirement for Scaffolders for 02/03/2021 - 07/03/2021.

Key responsibilities include:

• Erecting and dismantling different scaffold systems in accordance with AUS / NZ standards.

These will include:

• Tube and clip
• Kwick stage
• Lhayer
• Build splice station
• Sorting and stacking equipment

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must be prepared to complete a pre-employment medical check and a drugs and alcohol test. Successful applicants must have rights to work in Australia and hold the following:

Compulsory

• Australian Trade Certificate/Recognition (Tradesmen only)
• High Risk Work License – SA, SI (Scaffolders only)
• Valid WA Driver’s License
• Working at Heights (RIIWHS204D)
• Working in Confined Spaces (RIIWHS202D)

Preferred

• Willing to work in TA roles if and when required 
• High Risk Work License – RB, RI, RA (Riggers only)
• Gas Testing Atmospheres (MSAPHOS217A)
• Previous experience working within the mining industry
• MSIC Card
• Fire Extinguisher Training (CPPFES2005A)

Premier People’s Shutdown division supplies skilled and experienced trades and skilled labour to mine sites across WA. Our core crew of 75+ individuals mobilise to BHPIO, FMG, Roy Hill and Rio Tinto sites to carry out many areas of maintenance.
