We are looking for a Sales Engineer with between 2-12 years experience to join a Leading Cyber Security Vendor.

We are working with a leading global cybersecurity vendor who are growing from strength to strength. Their solutions protect customers from sophisticated cyber-attacks with industry leading advanced threat prevention software which defends enterprises’ cloud, network and mobile device information. Their employees are the heartbeat of the company redefining the security landscape by meeting customers’ real-time needs and providing cutting-edge technologies and services to a growing customer base.

Sales Engineer - Sydney

As a security engineer you'll enjoy being hands-on with the most advanced technologies in the market, learning more about customer’s security challenges and playing a crucial part in designing solutions for them to meet solve their security requirements.

  • Work closely with the sales team in a presales capacity
  • Demonstrate our clients portfolio of solutions that help keep organizations safe from threats and protect their operations and information
  • Educate customers, prospects and partners on the diversity of technical, operational and business challenges many organizations face and how our clients solutions help solve them
  • Drive meetings with potential and existing customers to identify their problems and provide appropriate solutions
  • Address technical questions, offer insight into best practices and manage Proof-of-Concepts
  • Respond to RFI's & RFP's
  • Engage and educate key partners and customers on the latest security technologies
  • Active participation in cybersecurity events
We are looking for
  • Some engineering and pre-sales experience preferably involving some cyber / network security
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of typical customers networks
  • Ability to create an end-to-end security solution for a customer’s environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
On offer is a chance to work for one of the worlds leading cyber security vendors and a salary of $180K OTE on a 80/20 split so a salary around $145K base + super + OTE. Thsi salary is negotibale higher potentially for the right person.
