We are on the hunt for an SEO specialist to service a wide client base across Australia in the digital landscape space.

The role

This position is for someone who wants to get in and get their hands dirty, implementing and servicing a variety of clients in the SEO space. Working within the digital team, the right candidate will work alongside our SEO and Google Ads specialists, assisting with collaborative clients whilst managing individual clients to deliver against set goals and objectives.

This role is best suited for an individual who understands the fundamentals of SEO and actioning both onsite and offsite optimisations. Delivering SEO strategies, spanning all areas of SEO including on-page, off-page, technical, and preparing content briefs. The role will involve creating strategies, planning, execution, and reporting. Including technical audits and fixes, on-page SEO, link building, content strategy. You are proficient in analysing data to uncover valuable insights and opportunities. 

The second part of this role is the Google Ads side of the business. For the right candidate, we have an opportunity to venture into Google AdWords management and implementation for clients. This includes Google Ads setups, optimisations, budget management, and much more.

This role is based in Victoria on a full-time basis with an option for WFH 1-2 days per week.

About You

First and foremost you are a self-motivated technical SEO specialist. You are passionate to learn and grow your skillset about SEO and stay on top of SEO trends. You have a positive, problem-solving attitude who wants to sink your teeth into the best optimisations to deliver against our client's goals and improve your client's presence online.

You're proficient with analysing and interpreting data, whilst being proactive, self-driven, and willing to achieve real results for your clients.

You are a go-getter and you want to take on the next step in your digital journey.

Role responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Reviewing and analysing client sites for improvement/optimisation for improved SEO visibility and organic performance. 
  • Implementing all aspects of SEO for the client to get results, inc; technical, keyword research, content , and website usability .
  • Regular monitoring of website performance and creating strategies and actions based on these findings. 
  • Developing keyword strategy, keyword mapping to key pages, and optimising these to enhance visibility in Google Search. 
  • Build content marketing strategies based on in-depth keyword research. Oversee & direct content writers to deliver articles from both a UX & SEO perspective. 
  • Technical implementation of Onsite SEO and briefing developers on developmental SEO tactics.
  • Identify & recommend site speed improvement opportunities. 
  • Implementing internal links across key product or service pages, blog articles. 
  • Ongoing website backlink analysis, market research competitor link analysis.
  • Understanding of local SEO- capable of optimising client Google My Business listing/s to improve local search exposure and build local citation listings. 
  • Work cohesively with Marketing Associates, Coordinators, Graphic designers, and Web Developers to ensure a complete full-service offering.
  • Set up google tag manager and Google Analytics measures.
  • - Keeping up to date with the latest SEO information, techniques, and tools.
  • Work with our web developers to plan the build of SEO-compliant websites.
  • Experience working in an agency environment is preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and work closely with clients and our team to develop integrated strategies.
  • Google Ads experience in building campaigns, managing campaign optimisations and budgets is advantageous however for the right candidate if this isn't a skillset held - that won't be a problem.

Essential skills include:

  • 2+ years of experience in SEO strategies and implementations. 
  • An excellent work ethic, problem-solving and proficient time management skills, and an eagerness to learn new skills. 
  • Thorough understanding of Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console & Google My Business.
  • Experience and understanding of Google Analytics, SEMRush, reporting through Google Analytics, Agency Analytics, Data Studio on progress. 
  • While not a requirement, experience/knowledge of Google Ads is preferred
