The Position:

We are seeking a Senior Mine Planning Engineer to join a major underground, long-hole open stoping operation in Western Australia. In this role you will be leading a team of Planning Engineers to ensure the long term development & viability of the operation. Your team will be responsible for the delivery of the short, medium & long term mine plans and are aligned with production targets. 

The Profile:

To apply for this role you should have the following:

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or equivalent 

• Extensive experience in underground mining operations 

• WA First Class Mine Managers certificate will be looked at favourably

• Proficiency with mine planning & design software such as Deswik

• Excellent communicator and the ability to provide technical leadership within a team

• Currently have the right to work in Australia
