JOB DESCRIPTION

C & K Plastering are currently looking for a recent school leaver to join the team as a 1st year apprentice plasterer.

Work sites will vary on a day to day basis in the Greater Brisbane region. No previous experience needed. Working with?qualified and skilled plasterers you?will gain valuable hands on?experience, mentoring and support.?

We specialise in all aspects of plastering and plaster repairs including renovations, commercial sites and new homes.

Position Description:

Daily travel to different sites
Use solid plastering tools and equipment
Fix standard plasterboard wall and ceiling sheets
Fix battens, wet area sheets, fibre cement board
Prepare surfaces for plastering
Apply basic levelling procedures

Requirements:

A car and current licence
Be a confident communicator
A high level of attention to detail
Motivated with a genuine interest in the plastering industry
Be trustworthy and reliable
Prescreening and registration with IWS required
