About the Organisation
An exceptional opportunity has arisen working for a leading Not-For-Profit organisation based on the outskirts of Sydney's CBD. This large and diverse organisation, with a varied risk portfolio, are seeking to engage a WHS Manager who has the ability to drive effective outcomes through coaching and influencing a diverse range of stakeholders.

About the Role
Reporting to the COO, you will be instrumental in advising and coaching Leaders across the business to deliver contemporary programs and services to affect sustainable change in safety performance, mindset and behaviours in line with strategic priorities and obligations.

In addition, key deliverables will include:

  • Develop and drive the implementation of the WHS strategic plan
  • Drive cultural change to instil a positive safety culture across the business
  • Effective and timely management of the safety management system, policies and procedures
  • Lead, coordinate and participate in internal WHS audits and inspections and ensure implementation of corrective actions
  • Investigate and review high risk incidents 
  • Management of all workers compensation, injury management and Return to Work processes

The Individual
The successful candidate will be an experienced and dynamic Health & Safety Leader with significant experience in developing and implementing a safety strategy focussed on driving cultural change. You will be engaging and be able to present to the executive board and employees in a compelling and engaging way. You will be capable of building credibility quickly with an ability to influence those who work with you.
