Purpose of Position

We are looking for a motivated individual with a passion for all things IT, that would like to further their career in playing a pivotal role in assisting our growing client base. We are ideally looking for someone with 1-3 years IT experience or a recent graduate.

The Role

Depending on previous experience, this will start out with small amounts of responsibility and with time and training, escalate all the way up to regularly taking calls, providing remote assistance, and attending on-site visits. A senior engineer will always be available to teach/ assist with all tasks assigned to you.

Desired Skills

• Hands-on experience in workstation hardware/software repair/troubleshooting

• Knowledge of IP networking, DHCP, DNS and general day-to-day network principles

• Knowledge of Windows SBS, 2012, 2016, and 2019 Server; 10, 8.1, 7 editions

• Knowledge of MacOS environments 

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2013, 2016, and 2019 suite, Office 365 solid understanding of Outlook/Exchange

• Understanding of Active Directory principals and best practices

• Understanding of mail servers including but not limited to Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, and Google Workspaces

• Understanding of malicious detection software and removal methods

• Understanding of Cloud Computing – AWS and Microsoft Azure

Highly Desirable Qualifications:

• Graduated from University/TAFE preferably in IT 

• 1-3 years’ experience 

• ICT or industry equivalent certification

•Microsoft Certifications in relevant areas (i.e. O365, Server 2019 etc)

• ITIL foundations certification

• Knowledge of managed IT services

• Knowledge of managed and hosted VoIP (mVoice)

• Knowledge of disaster recovery and continuity

• Knowledge of virtualization (VMware) 

• Knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure)

 • Cisco Cloud Services (Webex, Meraki)

 • Service Desk Ticketing System (Zendesk)
