The Opportunity

The purpose of this newly created role is to take responsibility for the maintenance, management and coordination of our fleet of vehicles, surveying equipment and other materials required to run our successful surveying business unit.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate office and field activities (including equipment allocation) 
  • Coordinate car allocation and maintenance including booking in servicing, ensuring registration is up to date and assist in new lease vehicle change-overs
  • Coordinate allocation of all equipment and facilitate the service, repairs and calibrations of all survey equipment
  • Actively support the day to day maintenance of all survey equipment, job related Vehicles and Storerooms
  • Work with the survey group in ensuring our survey kits are full and in good working condition
  • Conduct monthly audits on survey kits, car accessories and arrange replacements as required
  • Manage an asset register of all equipment and its repair/service history
  • Coordinate ordering of all necessary equipment
  • Maintain comprehensive registers of all vehicle and equipment assets and make recommendations in regard to renewal or capital expenditure purchases
  • Coordinate in house inductions for new employees on all equipment, vehicle and storeroom responsibilities

About You

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Demonstrated Fleet maintenance and Asset Management experience
  • Demonstrated administrative experience, including scheduling
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with colleagues and work as a team
  • Ability to deal with 3rd party suppliers in a professional manner
  • Ability to show initiative and to make decisions
