We have a new opportunity for an apprentice to join our team in the

and gain a qualification in

Our apprentices learn from industry experienced and qualified supervisors and we provide learning opportunities across a number of areas.

As a Landscape Apprentice, you will gain exposure to some of the following: 

• Softscape: Planting bed preparation, turf and hydro mulch lawns, plant installation, understanding of irrigation systems;
• Landscape Maintenance: Assist with the ongoing maintenance to achieve a high standard of project delivery at final completion; tasks include mowing; whipper snipping, pruning, blowing, and weeding and rubbish removal;
• Gardening and turf maintenance duties including: learning to identify and treat weeds, pests and diseases, general planting, feeding and fertilisation of plants and lawns; and
• Hardscape treatments including concrete formwork, paving; installation, timber work, supervision of concreters, street and sports furniture installation, playground installation and assistance to subcontractors.

• Drivers Licence, manual preferred 
• Commitment & willingness to learn (4 year Apprenticeship)
• Excellent communication skills
• Be physically fit and able to undertake manual work
• A genuine interest in horticulture is essential 

This is a fantastic opportunity if you love the outdoors, are enthusiastic and have a keen eye for detail. You will be required to work a minimum of 38 hours per week. Additional hours are required from time to time, including some weekend work.
