Hudson is working with a renowned Australian brand on their search for an DevOps Engineer on a 6 month contract to help deliver a new platform. This role will suit an experienced AWS and Linux engineer with demonstrated success in automating everything from infrastructure delivery to product deployments.

Description

 Your duties will entail:

• Design, implement and maintain different AWS services
• Lead the design and implementation of applications and services within AWS
• Refine and improve CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code tooling (AWS CodeBuild)
• Write and maintain technical documentation
• Contribute and drive a strong DevOps culture with a focus on collaboration

To succeed you will possess the following:

• Significant hands-on experience with AWS Core, Security and Application Services
• Experience designing, building and managing secure and scalable CI/CD pipelines and associated tooling 
• Experience with Infrastructure automation (Ansible, CloudFormation)
• Strong background in Linux administration
• Experience working with containerisation tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Excellent written and communication skills (essential)
