Red Mulga Australia/Roxby Engineering and Fabrication is a privately owned business that services a contract with BHP Olympic dam and the township of Roxby Downs.

They are currently seeking a full-time Industrial Engineer to join the team. Red Mulga are offering a salary of $66,000 per annum plus superannuation.

The duties of the position include:

1. analysis of operations statements and project details to advise on staff resourcing and duties to prevent double handling
2. developing output monitoring systems and assessing output to establish quality controls
3. monitoring labour efficiency, plant and equipment arrangement, performance reports and work schedules to ensure efficient staff and asset allocation
4. designing machinery and equipment in accordance with manufacturing needs
5. planning for manufacture of machinery by specifying materials, layout and systems needs
6. arranging staff, tools and materials for projects
7. developing processes and policies for the use of manufacturing machinery, quality of output and application of best practice principles
8. maintaining plant and equipment by conducting regular assessments
9. managing maintenance of plant and buildings to ensure new equipment and layout is installed and kept safely

Ideal applicants will have:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Driver’s licence and own reliable transport
• A willingness to work overtime as necessary
