JOB DESCRIPTION

Trades assistant needed for local Pest Control and Carpet Cleaning Company.

Applicants must be open to completing a casual work trial period with intention to move to full-time employment to complete a certificate in Pest Control gaining a License in the industry over a 12 month traineeship period.

Those that live in the Diamond Beach area would be highly regarded.

Applicants will need car and license, have the aptitude to do both on the job training and study both online and block training in Sydney as needed to complete the qualification and licensing.

Duties:-
    • Sprays chemicals or lays appropriate bait, wears protective clothing if applicable.
    • Cleans carpets and upholstered furniture using cleaning machines and their attachments.
    • Selects and applies cleaning agents to remove stains from carpets and other surfaces.
    • Fills carpet cleaning machines with water and other cleaning agents.
    • Pushes pile-lifting machines over carpets and brushes pile to raise and fluff nap.
    • Treats carpets with soil-repellent chemicals and deodorants, and treats for pests.
    • undergo pest control license
