CLMU are seeking full-time experienced formwork carpenters to join the team.

Your duties will be:

Study specifications in blueprints, sketches and building plans to prepare project layout 
Determine dimensions and materials required 
Prepare and plan installation procedures and layouts 
Measure and mark cutting lines on materials 

Follow safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment 
Shape and cut materials 
Erect forms, framework, scaffolds, hoists, roof supports, or chutes, using hand tools, plumb rule, and level 
Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools 
Install structures and fixtures, such as formwork, using carpenter's hand and power tools 
Select and order lumber and other required materials 
Maintain records, document actions and present written progress reports 
Prepare cost estimates for clients and employer 
Arrange for subcontractors to deal with special areas such as heating and electrical wiring work 
Inspect formwork to detect broken or damaged structures 
Finish surfaces of woodwork and wallboard 
Supervise and train junior staff members, trainees and apprentices 
Required Skills 
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Carpenter
