Your new company
Our client is an established Interior and Architectural studio that has experienced steady and continued growth in the past years. Due to a number of key project wins, this practice now have an opportunity for an experienced Interior Designer to join their Public Sector team, where you will focus and lead their Education and Workplace projects.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a technically minded and designed focused Interior Designer with minimum 4 to 5 years' experience who has key strengths working from design development stage through to completion. It is important that you're able to work as part of a team and are experienced in delivering projects independently. This practice currently uses Revit for documentation and it is therefore important that you have previous/proven working experience in Revit.

Due to most projects being within the Educational sector, candidates with strong experience in this sector will be prioritised, along with good stakeholder management. It's important that all candidates have strong communication skills and are able and experienced with dealing with different parties.

Summary of skills:

  • Experience on Educational, Community and Residential projects;
  • Role will be client facing as well as hands on with a small interiors team of 5 team;
  • Ability to contribute to the wider practice through branding, design competitions, pro bono work;
  • Focus on the strong people culture and opportunity for training in the firm.
