Waterview Electrical is a Modern Electrical company on the Northern Beaches, Sydney. Our work ranges from quality residential to light commercial projects including maintenance and new build fit out’s. We are known for our excellent levels of customer service and ability to fix problems that other companies can’t or won’t. As a result, the business has grown and we have decided that it is time to recruit for another Electrician for a rewarding opportunity to varied and interesting opportunities. 

This exciting position will be offered to an Electrician who enjoys delivering quality electrical and communication services across a varied client portfolio. We are looking for self-motivated, confident candidates with great people and job management skills. Our aim is to challenge our team to be better than the rest and invest in training to continually upskill our staff. We meet regularly to discuss jobs and workloads to develop our business and teams’ work experience.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out new installation work and renovations, including installing and upgrading switchboards;
  • Performing general maintenance and identifying faults;
  • Reading, understanding, and carrying out works according to Electrical and Architectural plans;
  • Ensuring all work is completed according to Australian Electrical Safety Standards;
  • Liaising with and providing professional customer service to a range of stakeholders, including site supervisors and customers; and
  • Providing supervision and mentoring to apprentices as required.

Skills and experience

  • Current Electrical Licence or close to completion 
  • Drivers licence for manual vehicle
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
  • Desire to progress career in a long term role 
  • Solar Experience Highly regarded but not essential.
