About The Role

Due to some of our team members advancing their careers internally, we have some fantastic opportunities to join our Field Delivery team as Substation Trade Technicians.

As a trade-qualified High Voltage (HV) Electrician, you will work on our HV Transmission network, either maintaining existing substation equipment or assisting with the construction, installation and building of new primary plant.

In this customer-oriented role, you will play a key part in maintaining a safe and reliable supply of power to almost 5 million Queenslanders, by performing Substation Maintenance activities and attending to and resolving faults as they arise.

This role requires occasional travel throughout Queensland as per the monthly work schedule and paid overtime hours and allowances, however, you will work within a supportive team environment and with leaders who genuinely care about your well-being and work-life balance.

About You

Crucial to your success in this role, will be your background in safely maintaining, constructing and operating High Voltage electrical substation equipment with a Transmission, Distribution or large-scale Contractor organisation.

You have a Queensland Electrical Fitter / Mechanic licence, a current resuscitation and switchboard rescue certification, an Elevated Work Platform (EWP) high risk work licence (>=11m) and a “C” Class driver’s licence.
