With the continuing growth of the business, WA Limestone / Australasian Sands International are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor who is willing to proactively provide operational supervision to our busy team in Geraldton.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing continuous improvement initiatives on operational strategies, and driving a positive safety culture on our project.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Ensure the project is delivered safely and on time and demonstrate leadership of a safety focused culture.
Effectively managing resources to ensure achievement of production schedules.
Coordinate and supervise the efficient management of direct labour, subcontractor and materials to ensure productivity.
Providing timely and accurate information to meet the management and client requirements.
Ensuring all contractual and KPI reporting is provided to management.
Supervise the material handling process and logistic support process.
Completion of project quality documentation, test records and all other relevant project documents.
Working closely with the Project Management Team to ensure project activities are completed safely, within budget, and in a timely manner.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Monitor and report progress against schedule to ensure site works meet or improve against program objectives.
Ensure the safe loading, unloading, restraint, bracing, and management of transported construction raw materials.

Job Requirements:

About You:
5+ years' industry experience in supervisory/management role in Australia.
Strong customer focus and service delivery ethics.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills.
Previous quarrying, mining or civil industry experience with a solid understanding of plant / equipment operations and maintenance.
Excellent people skills and the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
Valid Australian Drivers licence.
Experience in identification and dealing with regulatory and statutory requirements.
Experience in organising and working with sub-contractors.
