Job/Responsibilities
Council is currently seeking a reliable and self-motivated person to join the team on a permanent basis as the Building Assets and Facilities Supervisor.
This position will assist in the development and implementation of Council’s Building Asset Management Plans, with a primary focus on the planning, maintenance and capital works associated with Council’s Buildings, facilities and electrical services. You will also:
- Develop and maintain long term maintenance assets schedules for Council buildings and structures.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets to ensure assets are maintained at an optimum level.
- Prepare and maintain a Building Asset Management Plan for all Council buildings and structures.
- Deliver maintenance and capital works programs.

To be successful in this position you will need:
- Advanced Diploma in a Building, Asset Management or relevant technical field
- Current Drivers Licence
- General Construction Induction Card (White card)
- Experience in a similar position
- Demonstrated experience in Asset Management including experience in building management planning with particular skills in programming the maintenance, upgrading and construction of building and electrical infrastructure and developing and maintaining Assets Management Plans.
- High level communication skills both verbal and written
