Our client is one of Australia’s fastest growing lift company’s offering both installation and service to their clients.

Manufacturing and delivering their own product range, they offer quality products and are responsive to meet the demand of Australia’s Marketplace working across residential, commercial and high-rise projects.

What is the role
Based in Sydney we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced technical Sales Engineer who has a background in vertical transport.

This role will see you take the initiative to identify opportunities where we can have more impact with our customers, and ultimately maximise revenue and growth in the region.

What will you be doing?

  • Business development across a range of industries
  • Understand customer needs and requirements to capitalise on all lead opportunities, orders and contracts.
  • Estimating, tendering and quoting small and large project submissions
  • Upselling and cross selling at every opportunity
  • Building strong partnerships with key internal teams to facilitate a world class customer experience.

Are you the one?

  • A passion for sales, with a proven track record and a strong customer focus
  • Previous experience working in a fast paced, commercial environment. Construction experience is advantageous.
  • Experience using CRM is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience with tenders.
  • Ability to read layouts, specifications and drawings, desirable.
  • Diploma or Degree qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Business or related discipline
  • Ability to process and communicate technical information.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a successful team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exceptional planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise several competing tasks. 
  • A hunter mentality
  • Valid Australian driver's license
