Our client is a growing IT Managed Service Provider who partners with key information technology vendors and key telco groups providing a "one-stop solution" for their quality customer base. Continued growth has created an opportunity for you to join them in a customer-facing IT Network Support capacity.

The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, an opportunity now exists where they are currently looking for a keen and energized Level 1 Support Consultant to join their team. The successful applicant will be an all-rounder with the ability to absorb as much knowledge as possible to provide the best service to our clients.

This support role will suit your passion for being on the phone and working your way up, getting out of the office and helping customers in the field, face to face, solving their IT and telco needs across hardware, software, and communications. You will have an opportunity to leverage your growing passion and blossoming understanding as an IT technician.

This is a team-focused role that will leverage your self-motivation and technical / IT problem-solving skills, working across a complete project lifecycle. Of course, you'll be a lifelong learner who may have a "lab" set up at home where you enjoy learning, testing and trying out new things.

Skills Will You Need
  • Initiative and a desire to lead and grow
  • Ideally 12 months minimum in an introductory IT role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional phone manner with a genuine customer service focus
  • Able to work unattended or as a team member
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work effectively under tight deadlines (for project implementations)
  • Experience with Windows (All current flavours),
  • A current Australian driver's license and reliable car
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency
  • Ability to work as a cohesive team member.
  • A great sense of humor and a positive outlook.


This Knowledge Will Also Help, But Is a Non-essential
  • Experience with Connectwise and/or Kaseya
  • SharePoint knowledge
  • Experience with SQL
  • Having worked at another MSP
  • Knowledge of image-based backups
  • Experience with Active Directory, GP, Terminal Server, Citrix, Office365, Azure, Hyper-V and SAN's.
  • An understanding of switching and routing
