Norford Solid Surface is a family owned and operated business and expert in solid surface products and cabinet making services. We service the building and shop fitting industries and supply custom-made products to airports, clubs, hotels, restaurants, and commercial offices. We endeavour to establish long lasting relationships with our customers and have developed a reputation for innovation, quality, and customer service excellence.
We are now currently seeking a working foreman/assistant manager to join our Arundel based team.
About the role:
Reporting to the branch manager and company directors, as a working foreman you will:
- Schedule projects and manage the factory production team
- Assist in the production of kitchen cabinets and other joinery to meet deadlines
- Draw kitchens in CAD software and load to CNC routing machines.
- Assist with the training of apprentices or juniors
- Attend job sites to assist with site measures or installations when required
- Assist in our Solid Surface fabrication division where required
- Assist with general administrative duties and relieve the manager during times of leave.

About you:
- 5+ years’ post qualified experience in the shop fitting, joinery or cabinet making industries, foreman or management experience desired.
- A white card is required
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Driven to deliver results and continue the growth of the business
- Must have your own vehicle and be willing to work on site where required
