Position: Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Melbourne, Australia

Duration: 6 Months

Job Description:

• We are looking for Site Reliability Engineer, primarily for Melbourne location.
• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is a sophisticated, global, fast-paced team inside the world's open source leader with constant opportunities to learn new skills and innovate new solutions to meet our customers' demands.
• design and operate automation software to provision, upgrade, monitor, and heal a large clusters deployed across multiple public clouds.
• participate in a follow-the-sun on-call rotation and help in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities, managing engineering efforts against a service-level agreement (SLA) and error budget.

Mandatory Skills:

• 4+ years hands on DevOps practice on GCP/AWS /OpenShift Scripting (e.g. Bash or Python) GKE & Kubernetes Security in cloud Docker/Containers Networking Verbal communication skills Source Control (e.g. Git)
• Experience in Site Reliability Engineer and Environment Management
• Integration, Splunk, Analysis, APIs, Java, Python, gRPC, Camel, Dynatrace, Java, SQL, .NET
• Demonstrated ability to quickly and accurately troubleshoot system issues
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Docker-based containers is a plus

Good to have Skills:

• Development and Scripting skills
• Integration, Splunk, Analysis, APIs, Java, Python, gRPC, Camel, Dynatrace, Java, SQL, .NET.
• Alerting/Monitoring
• OpenShift
• Associated cloud related certifications
• Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as good interpersonal and organizational skills.
