Our client a well-established software product development company is seeking a DevOps Engineer. The Engineer will actively participate in building deployment and testing pipelines, automated provisioning of cloud infrastructure, and infrastructure support services.

Skills and Experience required:

• Extensive experience working with server virtualisation (VMWare, Xen, etc.).
• Proficient in building Windows and Linux systems.
• Experience with cloud systems (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud).
• Experience using Infrastructure provisioning tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Packer, CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Experience with logging/monitoring tools (Elastic Stack, New Relic, Splunk, etc.).
• Knowledge & experience with scripting and programming languages (PowerShell, C#, Python, Golang, etc.).
• Experience with continuous integration/deployment tools (Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, Jenkins).
• Experience administering application servers, web servers, and databases (Microsoft IIS, Nginx, MS SQL Server, MySQL, Redis, etc.).
• Knowledge in containerisation & serverless applications (Docker, Kubernetes, Lambda).
• Enthusiasm to learn new and innovative ways of solving business problems and delivering outcomes.
• Passion, drive and ability to work within agile software development teams, releasing production-ready software daily.
• Some experience or working knowledge of unit testing and automated testing tools.
• Some experience working as part of an IT Operations team.
