Position Description – WHS & HR Coordinator

Our team is looking for someone that is passionate about supporting farmers, and their teams, with the administration of the Work Health and Safety (WHS) and Human Resources (HR) aspects of their businesses. Key Responsibilities
The WHS & HR Coordinator Role will include these duties / tasks:
WHS Tasks
- Oversight of WHS management system,
- WHS management system client set up, training, induction and ongoing database management,
- Management of injury claims processes,
- Safety communications to clients / managed assets,
- Create Safety Action Plans
HR Tasks
- Support farm team recruitment efforts,
- Preparing employment contracts and other onboarding legal documents,
- Managing all employee onboarding, induction and files
- Support employee relations and performance management,
- Liaise between accounting and HR for payroll support and accuracy,
- Fortnightly payroll timesheet review and sign off
Skills & Qualifications:
Successful candidates will have
- 2+ years office, WHS and/or HR administration experience, preferably in the agricultural sector
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Embraces new technology and ability to adapt quickly
- Ability to multi-task, manage multiple deadlines and provide deliverables within expected timeframes
- Have strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, but not rigid
- A desire to grow and have fun along the way.
Desired but not essential
- Certificate III, higher qualification, or equivalent experience in WHS
- Certificate III, higher qualification, or equivalent experience in HR
- Understanding/experience with the Pastoral Award 2010
The position attracts a competitive remuneration package in line with experience.
