Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for a Graduate Engineer to join our Integrity Management team based in Melbourne. This role is part of our our Graduate Program commencing in February 2022. This role will appeal to those who have completed either a Mechanical / Materials / Process / Chemical / Electrical or Structural engineering qualification.
On joining the team you will be an active member of a dynamic and technically skilled group, working across diverse energy sectors and project portfolios. Our successful applicant will quickly be involved in providing consulting and engineering solutions to our clients delivering improved outcomes while balancing integrity, performance and cost.
This position will report directly to the Senior Consultant - Integrity Management based in Melbourne.
In Wood's two-year program, you will learn:
- How Wood works safely and with integrity to deliver project for clients aligned to industry standards
- How to apply your theoretical knowledge in practice

- Work on a range of energy assets across Australia and worldwide with our partner offices
- Provide engineering expertise to support ongoing and new client focused work
- Deploy Integrity Management systems using cutting edge data science and analytics
- Assist in the development of integrity management documents and workshops
- Undertake risk assessment and apply risk prioritisation into strategies for managing equipment and maintenance
- Work with your Australian and global peer group on advanced data manipulation projects applying coding techniques for increased efficiency and data visualisation
- Work with world-class industry experts
- Learn the fundamentals of occupational health and safety, and process safety principles
Skills / Qualifications

- Degree in Mechanical / Materials / Process / Chemical / Electrical or Structural Engineering - Masters graduates are encouraged to apply
