The Position:

As a member of the Technical Services team you will be reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer and your responsibilities will include:
• Development of safe and effective drill & blast design, planning & schedules
• Liaise with the short term planning team to ensure the successful execution of mine plans
• Contractor and stock management
• Adherence to legislative & company health & safety systems 

The Profile:

To apply for this role you should have the following:

• A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or equivalent
• Over 2 years experience in an open cut coal operations
• Proficiency with Vulcan & Datablast will be looked at favourably
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to provide technical leadership 
• Currently have the right to work in Australia
