Survival Tools is looking for a highly motivated Architectural Draftsperson to join our R&D team. The successful applicant will be tasked with developing and verifying high quality construction details & infographic content for delivery into our information systems. A Quantity Surveying background to help develop systems to compliment our digital software will be an advantage.

Their strengths will be,

• High level 3D imaging aptitude with very good attention to detail.
• Excellent English and technical problem-solving skills.
• Interest to study & apply building rules & regulations from the National Construction Code, Australian Standards & other building information sources.
• Revit, Photoshop and Illustrator experience
• Ability to work remotely and independently.

Tasks may include

• Interpreting plans, regulations and codes of practice.
• Preparing preliminary sketches, working drawings and specifications.
• Preparing, editing and revising plans, maps, charts and drawings.
• Creating 3d sketches to visually represent NCC & Australian Standards.
• CAD modelling & graphic enhancement.
• Work as part of a team to deliver best building practice.
