Summary Of The Role

This opportunity will see the Solutions Senior Architect embedded in the Teams that are responsible in designing effective solutions, in alignment with Group solution architecture processes. This is a hands-on role with the expectation that the successful candidates will collaborate across multiple teams amongst the Group to resolve medium to high complexity problem resolution. You will be largely working with software development and delivery teams, so you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with those teams to ensure you can deliver collaborative solutions.

Knowledge is power in this role. The Solutions Senior Architect will need to have awareness of Group projects and a good understanding of the Group IT landscape (including on premises infrastructure and cloud capabilities) to ensure solutions align with Group and Business policies, architecture and standards.

Your Job Profile Will Be Accountable To

• Analyse client requirements and determines appropriate solutions to these requirements based on business needs.
• Design solutions, system and software architecture according to business strategies and solution architecture standards / processes in medium to large programs.
• Resolve medium to high complexity problems and issues in solution architecture; assesses potential risks and determining solutions to these risks.
• Work with other solution architecture staff, technology experts and business stakeholders to provide functional support to clients on solution architecture updates.
• Work with other solution architecture staff, technology experts to ensure solutions align with Reference Architectures and cross cutting IT standards and policies.
• Work at project level with awareness of Group architecture roadmaps.
