KCGM now has opportunities for experienced Fixed Plant Electricians to be part of the Processing maintenance team.

The successful candidates will be responsible for efficiently performing preventative and breakdown electrical maintenance to the Mineral Processing plant, ensuring the plant continues to function at optimum gold production levels.

This is a residential role primarily working in an outdoors based environment at KCGM's Fimiston and Gidji sites.

These positions are on a 7/7 even-time roster, working 12 hour shifts providing a great work-home life balance.

Requirements

  • Western Australian A-Grade Electrical Licence and/or endorsed Electrical Fitter/Electrician qualification
  • Minimum of three (3) years electrical maintenance experience
  • Previous post-trade experience in a Mining Environment or Processing facility
  • Certificate IV in Instrumentation
  • High Voltage and Switching
  • Intermediate computer skills, in particular Microsoft Office
  • Experience in the generation and recording of Work Orders
  • Experience in the generation of Job Hazard Assessments (JHA’s) and safety observations
  • Demonstrated initiative and problem solving skills
  • Must reside in the Goldfields region - KCGM is a residential mine site
  • National Police Clearance – valid within the last twelve (12) months
  • Current Unencumbered Western Australian “C” Class Driver Licence
