In this role, you will primarily identify opportunities for improvement and implement process solutions to maximise CHPP throughput and metallurgical recovery.
Reporting to the CHPP Manager, your responsibilities will include reducing unit cost per tonne, upskilling CHPP personnel and contributing to daily, weekly and monthly production plans. You will work closely with production supervisors and team members in order to achieve cost and production targets. As well as this, the maintenance team will benefit from your expertise to manage plant availability.
With a proven detailed and technical approach, you will have demonstrated experience in mineral processing. You will possess high attention to detail when reporting and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication. If you have the ability to act decisively, drive performance, hold people accountable and develop others, then you will be considered for this role.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Chemical / Process / Metallurgical Engineering are mandatory including relevant experience in related mineral processing industries. You will understand the technical and operational side of mining, enjoy a hands-on environment and provide value and support to the operational teams utilising industry best practices.
