About the Role
Full time: 9 day fortnight
Salary: Range from $58,162 to $66,887 pa + 9.5% super

The primary purpose of the role is to lead a team to provide a high level of service in the maintenance, construction and repair of water, sewer and drainage infrastructure in line with Council's delivery and operational plans. This includes:
- Completing 'Works as Executed' documentation for jobs completed
- Leading, motivating and training team members
- Preparation for events and activities while dealing with changing priorities and procedures
- Availability to be placed on an "on-call" roster
- Travel to and work at sites within Richmond Valley Council as required
We are seeking someone who has:
- Certificate III Plumbing and Drainage
- Basic competency in Microsoft Office programs – Word, Excel and Outlook
- Competent numeracy and literacy skills to enable understanding and application of safety and work related procedures
- Extensive experience in a similar role and work environment
- Experience in calculation of quantities and coordination of jobs
- Experience in the supervision of staff
- Construction Induction Certificate (WHS White Card)
- Current Class MR Driver Licence
- Be available for "on-call" (after hours/emergency) duties
- Demonstrated conduct aligned with Council’s corporate behaviours supporting our values
